Capital One supports the 2013 Houston Money Week Student Essay Contest. Students in grades six through 12 are encouraged to answer this year’s Houston Money Week Question (see below) in an essay of 500 words or less. Three finalists will be selected – one middle school student and two high school students. The first-place middle school student will receive $1,500. At the high school level, a first-place prize of $2,500 and a second-place prize of $1,000 will be presented. Prizes donated courtesy of Capital One Bank. In addition, the finalists will attend the Houston Money Week Kick-Off Reception on Monday, April 8.
