Grounded in evidence-based practice, the goal of the Mentoring+ program is to introduce mentors and supports into the lives of youth living in high-risk situations to further explore the inherent strengths of the youth and help them increase protective factors that will build resiliency. Each mentee will be matched with a caring adult for a minimum of one year and will engage in a variety of activities for at least four hours a month. Eligible mentees for this program are male and females ages 6-17 years of age.
