HIV Wellness

Education and prevention are a society’s most powerful weapons to combat Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and communicable infections in the community.

By testing and screening, disseminating print and media information, providing linkages to care, and referring individuals to essential services, our HIV/Wellness Program engages, educates, and empowers those in marginalized Harris County communities regarding sexual health, substance abuse, and community health.

The HIV program, commonly referred to as Project F.O.R.C.E. (Focusing on Reducing Crisis through Education) targets communities in Harris County using a highly equipped mobile testing van. Civic Heart Community Services offers free confidential HIV testing in person by appointment or via an At-Home HIV test. Civic Heart also offers information and navigation for COVID-19 and Monkey pox (MPX) vaccination.
