Change Happens!’ Navigator Program ensures that Texans in the Gulf Coast Region can access high-quality, affordable health coverage in the Federal Marketplace. The program provides Navigator services in person and remotely (online and by phone). The broad public education approach we utilize encompasses:​

  • Community presentations and forums

  • Out-stationed assistance locations

  • Integration of consistent media and marketing messaging 

  • Local Helpline Center

  • Special events and various other outreach and education activities that result in successful enrollment opportunities

 

Navigators: 

  • Provide information that is culturally and linguistically appropriate to the needs of the population being served 

  • Assist any consumer seeking assistance, "no wrong door."

  • Disseminate information in a fair, accurate and impartial manner 

  • Offer referrals to consumer assistance programs as necessary

 

Open enrollment is November 1, 2020 – December 15, 2020; however some consumers may qualify for a special enrollment period between now and the next open enrollment. 

 

Bilingual Navigators are available.

The Change Happens! Navigator Program serves 30 Southeast Texas Counties, including: Angelina, Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Cherokee, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Hardin, Harris, Houston, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Madison, Matagorda, Montgomery, Nacogdoches, Newton, Orange, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Trinity, Tyler, Walker, Waller, Washington and Wharton counties.
