Rescue In Motion Housing Program

Take a drive through Houston’s popular intersections or walk through one of its parks and you’ll quickly realize there is still much to be done to eradicate homelessness in our community.

Out of our commitment to provide a hand-up to the disenfranchised within our community, Civic Heart Community Services’ Adult Services Division operates a permanent housing program to assist chronically homeless men and women with disabilities in their quest to change their lives.

In response to this ever present need, Civic Heart operates Rescue In Motion 2.0 (RIM) a permanent housing program to assist chronically homeless individuals with disabilities in their pursuit of a better quality of life.

Our RIM program helps homeless individuals obtain permanent housing and aids them in gaining the skills needed to avoid homelessness. The RIM program provides case management, a wide array of supportive services, and rental subsidies to chronically homeless men.
